Q1 What's the difference between the Digital Distribution Bridge and the Digital Multiport Bridge?

The Westronic Digital Distribution Bridge provides the ability for one master serial channel to communicate with multiple tributary channels as shown below. Multiple bridge modules can be cascaded together for systems requiring large numbers of channels.

The Westronic Digital Multiport Bridge enables multiple peer devices to communicate with each other as shown below. Multiple bridge modules can be cascaded together for systems requiring large numbers of channels.

Q2 I want to cascade two bridge modules together, what strap option do I change?

The digital bridge module has only one strap option ( Z1 ) to select the master/slave operation.
To designate a bridge module as a lead or master module, install a strap across Z1. To designate a bridge module as a slave, remove Z1. See below for strap location.
